“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” — Matthew 19:14

We welcome you and your small children to our Nursery at Baker Memorial UMC when regular worship services resume.  Every Sunday at the 9am and 10:30am Services, our Nursery is available to children 4 years and under (infant) year-round.  Pre-K potty-trained children are welcome to join Sunday School located downstairs at 9am.  Our staff engages the children through active playing, dancing, and teaching simple Bible stories.  We also take the time to love and pray for your children each week.

Our Nursery has two rooms:  the main room is for activities and the secondary room is for quiet infant care, nursing mothers, and diaper changing.  A child’s bathroom is also located within this space.   All toys and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized each week and between services.  Baker Memorial UMC follows a Safe Sanctuaries Policy for volunteers and staff along with background checks.  Both Nursery workers maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.

Baker Kids is our Wednesday Night program designed for Pre-K (potty trained) through 5th grade.  Each week the children will be engaging in a relationship with God’s word through scripture, activities, crafts, games, and interactive videos.  Baker Kids meet in the Children’s Center most Wednesday’s during the school year from September through May 6-7:30pm.

Sunday School worship during Covid-19 season has been moved to Wednesday nights through Zoom meetings.  From 6-6:30pm children ages 3-7 meet and children 8-12 meet 6:30-7pm.  Please contact Shelly if you are interested in joining our Zoom room.  We are using the curriculum from Deep Blue Rotation Station.  Curriculum worksheets, crafts, and busy bags are still available.  When you are ready for more, please contact Shelly
